EzyChart 7 includes numerous well known and specialised indicators that can be applied to a chart at the click of a button. For simplicity, indicators selected from the Indicator menu have been configured for the most common parameters and logical placement. However, the Advanced menu also includes tools for manually positioning indicators and the Properties screen contain user-configurable options.
Add an indicator from the Indicator menu
The Indicator menu is found on the ribbon and includes six groups of indicators.
These groups are:
- Indicators - contains the more popular and well-known indicators and oscillators.
- Price Lines - draw a simple line indicating a data value. This could be the close line that plots the close prices of each interval or an average like the typical line that adds the High, Low and Close prices and divides the total by 3.
- Equity Index - overlays the exchange indexes; sector and/or industry group index for the chart you have opened.
- Jim Berg - specialised indicators created by Jim Berg.
- Daryl Guppy - specialised indicators created by Daryl Guppy.
